Andy Ardern
Andy Ardern was born and raised here in Nova Scotia. What could be more East Coast than being raised in a lighthouse? That was Andy’s childhood home growing up in Tatamagouche. After high school, Andy received his Bachelor of Theology from New Brunswick Bible Institute. That’s also where he met his future wife, Kayla. After getting married, Andy began pastoral ministry in New Brunswick, pastoring Cumberland Bay Baptist Church for seven and a half years. During this time, he also received a Master of Theological Studies in Church History from Reformed Baptist Seminary. Although church planting has been a desire of Andy’s since 2010, it wasn’t until 10 years later that he began a church planting residency with PAXnorth Church in Halifax, Nova Scotia. While serving at PAXnorth, God called Andy and PAX to plant Wayfarers’ Church in nearby Spryfield.
Along the way, God blessed Andy and Kayla with four children. Norah, Jude, London, and Gemma.
